“Kindness can change someone’s sadness, loneliness and despair into hope, and give them a reason to live and to spread love.”
There is only ever one way to choose to behave every day – one never knows what another person is going through so always be kind. Kindness can change someone’s sadness, loneliness and despair into hope, and give them a reason to live and to spread love.
Masks enable people to be amongst others during this difficult, pandemic time. It is showing that you care about and respect the health and well-being of yourself and others.
By being part of this project, I am able to share my love and passion for embroidery, colour and handwork. This will hopefully inspire people to use their hands for good and as a focus for creativity. This is a great opportunity to be part of a special project.
Lisa Dawson is the owner of Bugs Unlimited, a hand embroidering company. Her love of drawing, colour and handwork threaded together 25 years ago when she began stitching bugs on shoes for her baby daughter.
Lisa’s work was recognised by friends who ordered embroidered shoes and clothing for their babies and children. She now sells a range of hand embroidered goods from her home studio. Lisa has taught skills and shared her passion for all styles of embroidery, helping over 50 women find enjoyment and a love for the craft.
