I got involved in The Art of Kindness because I never underestimate the power of connecting with others.

Volunteering offers the opportunity to cross paths with people across my community to show Ubuntu which is a Zulu phrase “Umuntu Umuntu Ngabantu” which means that a person is a person through other people which is a form of humanity.

Sibusiso Sangweni was born and bred in Johannesburg in the township of Tembisa in the Eastrand.

He discovered his hidden talent for art when he joined BlackFaff customs in 2015. In 2017 he was featured on the Standard Bank Ad (What’s Your Next) as one of the collective artists, and has worked with many big corporate companies over the years.

For Sibusiso, growing as an artist isn’t always about painting more, it’s about exploring all aspects of his creativity. His work is a clear testimony to his dedication and passion in all that he does.
